Alderville Learning Centre has numerous resources and services to help
you identify your employment path/goals and will work with you in
reaching those those goals.
As of January
2007, the Alderville Learning Centre will be streamed under the Ministry
of Training, Colleges and Universities: Employment Ontario. This
is a transfer agreement between Service Canada and Ontario for
employment assistance services.

Benefit program
helps eligible unemployed people develop and implement plans to
start their own businesses. |

Targeted Wage Subsidy
program
connects employees and employers by offering employers a wage
subsidy to hire eligible unemployed people facing barriers to
employment. |

Skills Development
program helps eligible unemployed people obtain the marketable
skills they need to secure employment. |

Job Creation
Partnerships
program provides work experience to eligible unemployed people.
Projects are developed by businesses or community groups or
other levels of government to increase the participants chances
of successfully establishing long term employment. |
